The Ghent University Library collections include posters from all possible social environments and areas: politics, publicity, sports, tourism, religion, arts and culture, materials from the period of the Great War (manuscripts, prints, typescripts, posters, clippings, archive documents, pamphlets, brochures, photos) , material on the Ghent 1913 World Fair and age-old manuscripts and papyri, photos and curiosities from nineteenth and twentieth century collections. The library has database with multidisciplinary coverage of over 10,000 high-impact journals in the sciences, social sciences and arts and humanities, as well as over 120.000 conference proceedings.It currently holds some 14 million records from the main Belgian university libraries and the Royal Library.
