The Digital Mechanism and Gear Library is an Research Information Centre. The goal of this project is the collection, preservation, systematization and representation of information and knowledge about mechanisms and machines. An extensive and ever increasing collection of information on mechanism and machine science is available on the Internet portal of the DMG-Lib. You can find systematic structures of gears, guidance requirements or transfer function requirements. The history of technique was one of high importance, but very often underestimate. The DMG-Lib places a variety of different information sources for mechanism and machine science at your disposal, for instance: gear catalogues, functional models, instructional material, movies and pictures. The educator finds the men and woman with their inventions very interesting. Historians use the sources for information about well known engineers in the domain of mechanism and machine science.
